2023 NBA All-Star Starters Announced
Antetokounmpo, James to Captain Teams
All-Star Game Returns to Salt Lake City
The NBA has announced the starters for the 2023 All-Star Game, with Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James and Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo serving as captains.
The game will be played on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. This will be the first time the All-Star Game has been held in Salt Lake City since 1993.
Joining James and Antetokounmpo as starters in the Western Conference are New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson, Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokić, and Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Dončić.
In the Eastern Conference, James will be joined by Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell, Atlanta Hawks forward Dejounte Murray, Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum, and Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid.
The All-Star reserves will be announced on Thursday, February 2, 2023.
